Easily Remove Background Noise from your Podcast with Waves NS-1
Your podcast is recorded and you think you are ready to go when you hear it: the lawnmower, the air conditioning, your computer fan…..I’m talking about the background noise. “Oh no! My audio is ruined!” You may be saying to yourself. Fear not! There is a way that you can not only salvage this audio, but make it sound amazing using the NS-1 by Waves. I’m going to walk you through step-by-step how to utilize this tool to make sure you wind up with fantastic, clean audio for your podcast!
Turn on the NS-1 noise suppressor from Waves! It is incredibly simple to use, having only one slider and only costs about $50 to purchase. It’s definitely worth it!
Find a happy medium on the slider! Move the slider up and down to see what sounds best. Moving the slider too high can cut into your voice, while not moving it high enough will leave too much background noise, so try a few different levels!
We don’t want to overdo it, but with the NS-1 by Waves, we can salvage audio to make it sound great! You can’t remanufacture great content, so make sure that you don’t lose it. This plugin will make your life a lot easier and is a great starting point for producing great content! Hopefully, this blog helps you on your journey to becoming an audio-editing master!
